Simon Cheong is Chairman & Managing Partner at Kai Lawyers. Previously, he was a Partner at Sheppard Mullin based in the firm's Beijing office. He previously served as Senior Counsel for the World Bank’s IFC, responsible for its investment activities in China. Mr. Cheong has also worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus and Baker & McKenzie. Mr. Cheong holds dual Bachelor degrees in Law and Economics from the University of Sydney, and is admitted to practice law in New York, Hong Kong, England, and Australia.
Elias Schulze is Managing Director and co-founder of Kana Television, an Ethiopia-focused free-to-air general entertainment channel. Prior to co-founding Kana TV, Mr. Schulze served as the Africa CEO for Kaymu, an online marketplace run by Rocket Internet that had operations across 15 African countries. He previously worked as an Engagement Manager for McKinsey, the world's leading management consulting firm, where he was based in Nigeria and worked throughout Africa. Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. Schulze worked at Emerging Capital Partners, an Africa-focused private equity firm based in Washington, D.C. He is also co-founder of The Africa Group, a boutique advisory and VC firm. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

Isaiah Schulze is Chief Operating Officer at Schulze Global. Prior to joining Schulze Global, Mr. Schulze worked in Hong Kong for a US$1 billion cross-border private equity fund. He has also worked in Washington D.C. for an advisory firm focused on frontier markets. Mr. Schulze received his Bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese and has achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is also a member of the Milken Institute's Young Leaders Circle.
